Neat and huge room and private bathroom with all necessary facilities. Comfortable beds and a fridge, climate control, and an individual safe.

All in all everything was nice, had a PERFECTLY PLEASANT stay for one night. Well-maintained room, delightfully helpful staff, I liked it. The setting was best possible and comfortable, so close to the centre, Sapphire Hotel, Colombo, Sri Lanka and a cute church with a flower market going on, several supermarkets and banks.

The property was recently refurbished and nice with very very nice staff with great service. The food at the restaurant was great. No complaint, truly enjoyed our stay.

This centrally located hotel impressed me in many ways. Firstly, the rooms were well maintained and clean, although they did have a slightly outdated feel. The staff were friendly and welcoming, especially at breakfast. Additionally, the basic amenities provided, such as a fridge and kettle in the room, were a nice touch. The location at the center of the city made it easy for us to explore all the main areas. Lastly, the breakfast spread was impressive, catering to both Indian and continental tastes.

The pool surroundings could use some improvement. While the pool itself was a good size, the area around it could have been cleaner, which would have allowed guests to fully enjoy their time by the pool.

Casserole, where you can eat, is within walking distance the hotel. We enjoyed the fact that we chose sapphire. A relaxing base for exploring Colombo...

The hotel is 20 years and is extremely tired…the restaurant lacks any taste or innovation in dishes. We asked the hotel to pick us up which they agreed to but didnt inform us in advance that there would be a charge for this service and when we were checking out the charges for the rented car were billed to us.

This hotel was close to perfect. Staff treated me as family. They could not do enough for you. Clean, pool area and surrounding container garden was refreshing and beautiful.

The hotel is in good location with plenty of food outlets and shops.Alot of tuk tuk pass the road making it easy to travel within the city.

On checking in was given a standard room instead of a luxury room I booked. I was told that the room rate quoted by Booked.net is good for the standard room only and that I need to pay more for a luxury room.On checking out was told to pay for my room again plus someone else's food bill. Thank God I kept my payment receipt.Before leaving Colombo I found a much much better hotel at the same rate.

During my recent stay at Hotel Sapphire, I was pleasantly surprised by the convenient location and great food offered. The hotel is centrally situated, making it easily accessible to all the main areas in the city. The rooms, although slightly old, were well maintained and clean. The highlight of my stay was definitely the food. The variety and taste of dishes served for breakfast and lunch were excellent, especially for those who enjoy Indian cuisine. I had a satisfying experience at Hotel Sapphire and would recommend it.
